Traveling with Travel Sharing App in 2022 – Explurger
Just as the world is slowly and steadily recovering from the pandemic, the Omicron variant has put it on hold. A sharp surge in the Omicron cases has made all the future traveling prospects look bleak. To protect the country from another devastating situation caused by Covid 19, the Indian government and authorities have put forward several exemptions and regulations on traveling to curb the virus.
Despite this fact, Indian travelers are vouching out for different and safe traveling options such as road trips, weekends, quicks runaways, and staycations. This is why travelers are opting for listed ways that are hygienic and safe to travel. Let’s have a look at them:
Solo Vaccy:
Pandemic has made people realize the worth of self-time. Solo vaccy is just one of the many ways to pamper and cheer oneself to the fullest. Alongside this, traveling in such a difficult time and enjoying every moment can give you life lessons.
Unique Travel Experiences:
People have been caged in their homes for the past 2 years. So, now they are excited to experience something adventurous. They are taking small getaways and exploring their nearby areas. Even people are looking out for workstations to boost their creativity and enthusiasm.
Sustainability: The covid and pollution have made people conscious travelers. Now, they no longer choose a fancy place with limited resources. Rather a sustainable place that is closer to remote communities. These places are usually more affordable and accessible.
Contactless Travel: Pandemic made people befriend contactless practices. Be it ordering online food and beverages in a hotel, contactless check-in at airports, or more, contactless has become the norm more than an exception. This trend will be practiced by the new-age travelers.
Having said all of the above, here is everything you need to know about the exemptions and regulations while making your travel plans:
- The Union Government, after paying heed to the Omicron, has extended the suspensions of international flights to/from India
- This means the number of International flights will be reduced by a significant percentage. No flights will leave for the countries that are “at-risk”. Hence there will be restrictions on travelers going to and coming from other nationalities. (Till the next order from the Union government.)
Other than this, the federal government has transformed the travel guidelines in the midst of Omicron. The center has now made it compulsory to:
- Submit 2 weeks of detailed travel summary
- Upload negative Covid (RT-PCR) test results on the Air Suvidha Portal before starting the journey.
An important note to remember is that the test should have been conducted within 72 hours before undertaking the journey. Only people with negative reports, followed by a thermal screening. will be allowed to board the flights. Downloading the Arogya Setu App is mandatory for all passengers.
