There are some trips you take for the views, and then there are some journeys that stay with you because of the people, the stories, and the feeling they leave behind. Explurger’s recent Creator Connect in Tripura was exactly that kind of experience.
On 2nd and 3rd May 2026, 18 creators and travelers came together with Agartala Adventure Club to explore the raw, peaceful, and lesser-seen side of Tripura. From scenic train routes and mountain treks to local food, village life, and unforgettable conversations under the stars, the trip became a perfect reminder of what Explurger’s “Get Out, Get Social” spirit truly means.
The Journey Begins from Agartala

The adventure started from Agartala as the group made its way towards Manu Station. Surrounded by endless greenery, fresh air, and peaceful landscapes, the journey itself felt calming and refreshing. Sometimes the best part about travelling is slowing down for a while, and Tripura gave everyone exactly that feeling from the very beginning.
One of the first stops was the serene Chailengta Buddha Mandir. Quiet surroundings, peaceful vibes, and the simplicity of the place made it one of those moments where everyone naturally paused, looked around, and simply enjoyed the calmness around them.
Camping with Locals in Chawmanu

The group later reached Chawmanu, where the experience became even more special. Instead of staying in hotels or resorts, everyone stayed in tents alongside the local community. It gave creators a chance to experience village life closely and understand the beauty of simplicity.
The surroundings were filled with green fields, rainwater storage systems, farming activities, and peaceful homes tucked into nature. Far away from city chaos, the slow lifestyle of the village felt refreshing and grounding. For many participants, this became one of the most memorable parts of the trip.
As evening approached, the rain slowly began to fall, making the entire campsite look even more magical.

Trekking Through Rain, Forests, and Clouds

After refreshments, the group began trekking towards the famous Shiva Trail. What made the experience unforgettable was the weather. It rained throughout the trek, turning the entire trail into a misty green paradise. Every path looked fresh, every mountain looked alive, and every step felt peaceful despite the challenge.
The views during the trek were absolutely unreal. Fog-covered valleys, mountain trails, forest routes, and the sound of rainfall created an atmosphere that felt straight out of a movie.
Once the group reached the peak, lunch prepared by the locals was waiting for everyone. The simple meal included chola, rice, and eggs for non-vegetarians, but after hours of trekking in the rain, it honestly felt like the best meal ever. Sitting together with those valley views around made the experience even more memorable.
And just when everyone thought the trek couldn’t get any better, the rain suddenly stopped while coming back down, and sunlight covered the entire valley. The mountains looked brighter, the greenery felt fresher, and it genuinely felt like nature had planned the perfect ending to the trek.
Day 2 and the Adventure to Hachukni Muktwi Waterfalls

The second day started with breakfast and a fun practical session by the Agartala Adventure Club team, where everyone learned how to properly fold camping tents before packing up. It added a fun outdoor-learning touch to the experience and brought even more energy to the group.
Before beginning the next trek, the creators also visited Chawmanu Buddha Vihar, another peaceful stop surrounded by natural beauty. Soon after, the group headed towards one of the most adventurous parts of the trip — the trek to Hachukni Muktwi Waterfalls.
This trek was challenging, exciting, and completely thrilling from start to finish. Jungle trails, mountain routes, slippery paths because of the rain, and constant adventurous turns made the entire journey feel intense and rewarding at the same time.
After hours of trekking, seeing the massive waterfall surrounded by untouched greenery felt surreal. The exhaustion disappeared instantly, replaced by excitement, relief, and pure happiness. It became one of those moments where nobody wanted to leave.

More Than Just a Trip
As the journey came to an end, the group headed back towards Manu Station, shared one final local meal together at a small restaurant, and slowly started saying goodbye. But what everyone carried back was much more than photos or videos.
The Tripura Creator Connect became a reminder that travel is not always about luxury or crowded tourist spots. Sometimes the most unforgettable experiences come from simple moments — trekking in the rain, eating local food with strangers who become friends, sitting quietly in nature, and discovering places that still feel untouched. Through Creator Connect experiences like these, Explurger continues to bring together travelers, creators, and local communities through meaningful real-world experiences that go far beyond social media.
Because sometimes, all you really need is to get out, get social, and let the journey surprise you.
